These are designed to be added next to other holds in order to create slots or reduce the depth of the hold, creating a more rock-like experience. Placing the curved side up against a straight crimp or edge allows you to limit width of the hold, forcing you to drop a finger. It also forces you to be accurate when moving to holds. The non-curved side can be butted up against edges to simply reduce their depth and change their profile or placed slightly apart from the edge to create a slot.
These work best with our small crimps, incut crimps, incut edges, undercuts crimps, undercut edges.
